Last Monday, our Form 2 students took part in a lively and engaging formal debate.
In the lead-up to the event, students were given their topics and worked hard to research, refine their arguments and develop essential teamwork skills. These sessions were led by volunteers from the English Speaking Union, who have been visiting regularly to coach and mentor our learners.
The final debate reflected the effort and preparation put in by the students, as they expressed their ideas clearly and engaged in meaningful discussion. It showcased confident speaking, thoughtful responses and strong teamwork.
We are proud of all participants for their dedication and enthusiasm throughout this experience. A heartfelt thank you goes to the ESU volunteers for their time, expertise and commitment to nurturing these valuable skills in our students.
