At BCSS we cater for girls between the ages of 11 and 16. Each Form consists of 3 mixed ability classes. We strive to provide diverse skills to our students beyond the academic whilst promoting their self confidence and resilience.
Our staff consists of approximately 85 members who bring a wealth of experiences, knowledge and care to the school's community. The holistic education our students receive is due to their hard work and commitment and this is reflected in our girls' wellbeing and success during their secondary school years. Common feedback from visitors is how welcome our school community makes them feel, and this is strongly felt among our staff.

The 15 elected representatives of all students, form Form 1 to Form 5 meet regularly as a students’ council together with a member of staff to discuss matters that concern student welfare, make proposals for school improvement and discuss fund raising events and projects. The meetings are informal and held on a weekly basis in the board room.
