Last week our form 3 maths students were treated to an outing to McDonalds where the students along with the accompanying educators spent some quality time together and had a snack. The students also took part in a mathematical activity where students were required to use mathematical concepts learnt in class such as calculating the amount of time spent at the restaurant, making purchases and checking if the correct change was given to them.
The students truly enjoyed the activity and are already looking forward to the next one. A hands on approach to learning makes mathematics relevant to the students’ lives and easier to grasp. Well done to everyone involved!
