Today our school had the pleasure to host Joseph Elliott, a British author widely known for the critically acclaimed Shadow Skye trilogy. Mr Elliott took the students on the inspirational journey involved when writing a book. The students were engaged in a hands-on workshop on subconscious writing, an innovative way to overcome a writer’s block. They were also engaged in creatively writing the opening of a story, through different prompts. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and share their pieces of writing. The session was organised by the National Literacy Agency.
