Relics in Relief

Our students’ latest work is now on display in the school’s main foyer. This exhibition, titled “Relics in Relief,” is the result of a sculptural workshop centered on modern and contemporary art.

The process began with a study of Alberto Giacometti’s forms, where students created preliminary sculptures using aluminum foil.

This moved into a broader research phase focused on the theme of fossils, drawing influence from artists such as Henry Moore, Constantin Brâncuși, Bridget McCrum and Barbara Hepworth. Each student developed their own interpretation of fossilized forms to create their final pieces.

The exhibition will be open for viewing until May 29th.
